Welcome to The Clean Space LLC. These Terms of Service explain the rules, policies, payment terms, and service conditions that apply when you visit our website, request a quote, book a cleaning, purchase services, receive text messages from us, or use any services provided by The Clean Space LLC.

By using our website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, booking a cleaning, making a payment, or allowing us to provide services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Services Provided

The Clean Space LLC provides residential, commercial, office, move-in/move-out, Airbnb turnover, deep cleaning, recurring cleaning, and related cleaning services. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Standard home cleaning

  • Deep cleaning

  • Office cleaning

  • Move-in and move-out cleaning

  • Airbnb and vacation rental turnovers

  • Interior window cleaning

  • Refrigerator cleaning

  • Oven cleaning

  • Laundry service

  • Balcony or terrace cleaning

  • Ironing

  • Steam cleaning

  • Organization and add-on cleaning services

The exact scope of work depends on the service selected, the condition of the property, the size of the space, any add-ons requested, and the estimate or agreement provided before service.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes, online calculator results, phone estimates, and website pricing are estimates unless otherwise confirmed in writing by The Clean Space LLC.

Final pricing may change based on:

  • Actual square footage

  • Condition of the property

  • Amount of buildup, clutter, trash, stains, or debris

  • Number of rooms and bathrooms

  • Extra services requested

  • Pets, heavy shedding, or unusual messes

  • Time required to complete the service

  • Access issues or parking limitations

  • Same-day, rush, weekend, or after-hours scheduling

If the job requires more work than originally estimated, we may contact you before continuing. In some cases, we may adjust the final invoice to reflect the actual work required.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Appointments may be requested through our website, by phone, by email, by text message, or through any booking system we provide.

A booking is not guaranteed until confirmed by The Clean Space LLC. We may confirm appointments by email, phone, text message, invoice, or other written communication.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including:

  • Name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Property address

  • Parking instructions

  • Gate codes or access instructions

  • Service type requested

  • Home or office size

  • Special instructions

  • Pets or safety concerns

If inaccurate information is provided, we may adjust the appointment, pricing, arrival window, or service scope.

4. Arrival Windows

Arrival times may be provided as a window rather than an exact time. Cleaning appointments can be affected by traffic, parking, prior appointments, weather, building access, and other factors outside our control.

We will do our best to arrive on time and notify you of significant delays.

5. Access to Property

Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the scheduled time.

Access methods may include:

  • Someone present at the property

  • Key, lockbox, keypad, concierge, front desk, or smart lock

  • Building or gate access instructions

  • Permission to enter while the customer is away

If we cannot access the property within a reasonable amount of time, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and a cancellation or lockout fee may apply.

6. Customer Responsibilities Before Service

Before our team arrives, customers should:

  • Secure valuables, cash, jewelry, medications, personal documents, firearms, and fragile items

  • Pick up excessive clutter if the service is not an organization service

  • Provide working electricity, water, lighting, heating/cooling, and safe access

  • Secure pets if necessary

  • Notify us of delicate surfaces, broken items, special materials, or areas requiring special care

  • Tell us about alarms, cameras, locked rooms, building rules, or parking requirements

The Clean Space LLC is not responsible for unsecured valuables, pre-existing damage, unstable items, or items that were not disclosed as fragile or sensitive.

7. Pets

We are pet-friendly, but pets must be secured if they may interfere with cleaning, escape, become aggressive, or create a safety concern.

Customers must notify us before the appointment if pets will be present. If our team feels unsafe because of a pet, we may stop service, leave the property, and charge for time spent or a cancellation fee.

8. Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

The Clean Space LLC may provide cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

Customers may request that we use specific products, but the customer is responsible for making those products available and confirming that they are safe for the intended surfaces.

We are not responsible for damage caused by customer-provided products, improper product labels, products used at the customer’s request, or surfaces that react unexpectedly.

9. Service Limitations

The Clean Space LLC does not provide certain hazardous, unsafe, or specialized services unless expressly agreed in writing.

We do not typically provide:

  • Mold remediation

  • Pest control

  • Biohazard cleanup

  • Hoarding cleanup

  • Blood, bodily fluid, or hazardous waste cleanup

  • Exterior window washing at height

  • Heavy furniture moving

  • Major construction cleanup

  • Repairs requiring a licensed contractor

  • Lifting extremely heavy items

  • Cleaning areas that are unsafe, inaccessible, or unsanitary beyond normal service conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, hazardous, or materially different from what was disclosed.

10. Payments

Payments may be collected by invoice, credit card, debit card, ACH, Stripe payment link, online checkout, recurring billing, or another payment method approved by The Clean Space LLC.

By submitting payment information, you authorize The Clean Space LLC and/or its payment processor, including Stripe, to charge the payment method provided for approved services, deposits, recurring cleanings, cancellation fees, add-ons, outstanding balances, and any other charges agreed to by you.

Payment is due according to the invoice, checkout page, payment link, written agreement, or booking confirmation. If no separate due date is provided, payment is due at or before the time of service.

11. Stripe Payments

We may use Stripe or another third-party payment processor to securely process payments. The Clean Space LLC does not store complete credit card numbers on its own servers.

By paying through Stripe or a Stripe-powered payment link, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms, privacy policies, and processing rules.

Payment processing errors, declined cards, chargebacks, failed payments, bank delays, or fraud reviews may delay or prevent service.

12. Deposits and Prepayment

Some appointments may require a deposit or full prepayment before the appointment is confirmed. Deposits may be applied toward the final balance.

Deposits may be non-refundable if the customer cancels late, reschedules late, fails to provide access, or materially changes the job after booking.

13. Recurring Payments and Recurring Cleaning Plans

If you sign up for recurring cleaning services, you authorize The Clean Space LLC and/or its payment processor to automatically charge your payment method for recurring appointments according to the agreed schedule.

Recurring services may be billed:

  • Before each appointment

  • On the day of service

  • After completion of service

  • Weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or according to another agreed billing schedule

Recurring pricing may depend on the agreed frequency. If you cancel, pause, or reduce the frequency of recurring services, your rate may change.

You may cancel recurring billing by contacting us at schedule@bookthecleanspace.com or by using any cancellation method we provide. Cancellation requests must be made before the next billing date or scheduled appointment to avoid additional charges.

14. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, is declined, reversed, disputed, or charged back, The Clean Space LLC may:

  • Pause or cancel upcoming services

  • Request an alternate payment method

  • Reattempt the charge

  • Send a new invoice

  • Charge applicable late fees or collection costs where allowed

  • Refuse future service until the balance is paid

The customer remains responsible for all completed services and approved charges.

15. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. However, late cancellations and last-minute rescheduling may prevent us from filling that appointment time.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, customers should provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

A cancellation, rescheduling, or lockout fee may apply if:

  • The appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice

  • We arrive and cannot access the property

  • The customer is not present when required

  • Access instructions are incorrect

  • The job is canceled after our team is already on the way

  • The property condition is unsafe or materially different from what was disclosed

16. Refunds and Satisfaction Policy

We want customers to be happy with the service. If you are not satisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of the completed cleaning and describe the issue clearly.

At our discretion, we may offer:

  • A return visit to address missed areas

  • A partial credit

  • A partial refund

  • Another reasonable resolution

Refunds are not guaranteed and are reviewed case by case. We do not offer refunds for issues reported too late, areas outside the agreed scope, pre-existing stains or damage, clutter preventing access, or customer expectations that were not agreed to before service.

17. Damage and Breakage

The Clean Space LLC takes care when cleaning, but accidents can happen. Customers must report any alleged damage within 24 hours of the service.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Loose, unstable, improperly mounted, or already broken items

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Items that were not secured

  • Delicate or valuable items not disclosed before service

  • Damage caused by customer-provided products

  • Damage caused by pets, children, other contractors, guests, or building staff

  • Surfaces or materials that are defective, aged, improperly sealed, or sensitive to normal cleaning

Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, unless otherwise required by law.

18. Photos and Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of work areas for internal quality control, training, documentation, or marketing.

We will not intentionally include private personal information, sensitive documents, family photos, addresses, or identifying details without permission.

If you do not want photos taken at your property, please notify us in writing before the appointment.

19. Text Messages, Calls, and Email Communications

By submitting your phone number, email address, booking form, quote request, or payment information, you consent to receive communications from The Clean Space LLC related to your inquiry, appointment, quote, invoice, payment, service reminders, follow-ups, customer support, and promotional offers.

Communications may be sent by:

You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. You may request help by replying HELP or contacting schedule@bookthecleanspace.com.

Opting out of promotional messages may not stop important transactional messages related to active bookings, payments, invoices, or service updates.

We are not responsible for third-party outages, errors, policies, delays, or data handling practices. Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

24. No Guarantee of Specific Results

We work hard to provide professional cleaning results. However, we cannot guarantee removal of all stains, odors, buildup, hard water marks, mold-like staining, rust, grease, pet damage, discoloration, or wear caused by age, neglect, improper maintenance, or material condition.

Some surfaces may require specialty restoration, replacement, or professional repair outside the scope of normal cleaning.

25. Safety
